Youth Violence Prevention: Roles for the Business Community
While Boston has seen some kinds of crime decrease, youth in our city continue to experience a high level of violence that affects their development and success. The business community has begun to recognize its stake in the well-being of Boston’s youth, and many organizations are looking for meaningful ways to make a difference. This program will overview the issues of youth violence in our city, and highlight approaches that provide meaningful support for youth and return on companies’ investment.
The BCCJ Business Network convenes these leadership strategy sessions to share best practices, seed new ideas, and connect a range of local businesses concerned with social responsibility.
